Police search water for missing person in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police searched the water for a missing person Wednesday night.
Police responded just before 10 p.m. to the Seekonk River near a pier on Thaft Street.
Multiple boats and a dive team searched the water into early Thursday morning.
Witnesses told ABC 6 News crews that someone went into the water and they heard a scream for help.
The state medical examiner arrived to the scene just before 1 a.m.
