Police searching for alleged shoplifter in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are searching for a man that allegedly shoplifted from a grocery store in Cranston on Friday.
Officials said the suspect left the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue with a cart full of groceries.
The man was confronted in the parking lot by store security and left in a white SUV, per authorities.
