Police searching for suspects after shots fired at Wendy’s in Attleboro
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Police are searching for four suspects after shots were fired outside Wendy’s in Attleboro on Saturday.
Attleboro Police Deputy Chief Timothy Cook said officers responded to Wendy’s on Washington Street around 8 p.m. for a disturbance involving a gun.
Responding units found that four individuals allegedly engaged in an altercation inside the restaurant before exiting the building.
Police said the suspects entered their car and drove around the parking lot firing shots in the air, according to witness reports.
They then drove off down Washington Street at a high rate of speed, per authorities.
Investigators found a spent casing and a live round from a small handgun on the ground of the scene.
Officials said no one was injured in the incident, which is under active investigation.
The four individuals involved were described by police as follows:
- A White male wearing a ski mask
- A heavy-set Hispanic male wearing a blue hoodie
- Two Black males, one of whom was wearing a white ski mask
