Police seek man who robbed Fall River convenience store

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – Fall River Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a local convenience store.
Police said a male suspect entered the Speedway located at 15 Eastern Avenue in Fall River around 3:30 a.m. on May 24, requesting to buy cigarettes.
When the clerk opened the register, the suspect jumped over the counter and attempted to take the drawer of the register.
After a brief struggle, the cash drawer fell to the ground. The suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and fled.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, 5’8” tall and weighing around 210 pounds. He is bald and clean shaven, and described as wearing white sneakers, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and black North Face pullover.
