Police seize marijuana-infused butter from Central Falls home

A Central Falls man has been arrested after police found marijuana-infused butter in his home.

Police executed a search warrant at Thomas Brooks’ King Street home Monday, and found a large quantity of marijuana, and four and a half sticks of suspected marijuana-infused butter or “cannabutter”, as it’s known. They also seized prescription medication.

Brooks, 42, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of schedule III narcotics, and distribution of a controlled substance within a school zone.
