POLICE: Suspect in Taunton stabbing entered home with knife, hammer

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Taunton police have identified the suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred at Paul Bunker Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Cye Key, 24, of Taunton was arrested and charged with home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (two counts) and possession of a Class B substance (crack cocaine).
Key was arraigned Wednesday morning at Taunton District Court and was held pending a dangerousness hearing.
He has outstanding arrest warrants for previous incidents.
Taunton police responded to Paul Bunker Drive Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Three men ages 19, 21 and 21 were found to be injured by police upon arrival and were transported to area hospitals.
Key was also transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Key is alleged to have entered an apartment armed with a hammer and a large knife and attacked the victims.
The altercation is alleged to have stemmed from an argument the night before.
