Political rally in Providence

A political rally was held in Providence Sunday afternoon to bring awareness to the role of money in politics.
A few dozen people gathered in Kennedy Plaza, holding signs and chanting.
The group then marched to the State House to show support to a resolution that would move big money out of the political process.
“If we want a better education system, a better health care system, more environmental regulations… then we need to remove the corrupting influence money plays in our political process,” said Justin Roias, the rally organizer.
