Pools in Providence reopen, meal service kicks off

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence’s summer meal program will kick off and the city’s pools will open on Tuesday.

Any child under the age of 18 can get a meal at one of the 30 locations throughout the city. The meal service will run weekdays through Aug. 26.

Pools throughout Providence will be open for swimming for the next two months. Swimmers can enjoy the pools Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
