Port of Providence to test emergency siren warning system on Monday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Providence Emergency Management Agency will be testing the emergency siren warning system at the Port of Providence on Monday at noon.
Residents in nearby communities could possibly hear the sirens during the test. PEMA said that they do not need to take action.
PEMA will be following the alert signals with the following message:
“This is a test of the emergency management public warning system. This is only a test.”
