Portion of Aaron Hernandez’s suicide note released

Three weeks after the shocking suicide of former Patriots star Aaron Hernandez we’re getting a glimpse at some of his last thoughts, by way of a letter he left behind for his fiancé Shayanna Jenkins Hernandez.

The suicide note begins, "Shay, you have always been my soul-mate and I want you to live life and know I’m always with you."

From there Hernandez writes, "I told you what was coming indirectly."

The 27-year-old was found hanging naked in his Shirley prison cell one week after being acquitted for a double murder in Boston.

Thursday we learned he was found with the bible verse John 3:16 written in ink on his forehead and in blood on his cell.

In his last message to Shayanna you can get a sense of just how strong his religious convictions were. He writes, "This was the supreme’s, the almighty’s plan, not mine!"

On his legacy, Hernandez writes, "Tell my story fully."

Hernandez asks Shayanna to look after some people whose names are redacted. And, before signing off Hernandez tells his fiancé she will be coming into money, in parenthesis writing, You’re rich.

Just released documents which include information a security officer got from inmate interviews says prior to his suicide Hernandez had, "mentioned a rumor that if an inmate has an open appeal on his case and dies in prison, he is acquitted of his charge and will be deemed not guilty."
Coincidentally, the note is now being used as the State and Hernandez’s attorneys gear up for a legal battle on the very subject.

A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday on that matter. If the murder conviction against Hernandez is vacated, he could get millions that was never paid out from his contract with the Patriots.

Two other notes were found in Hernandez’s jail cell, they are not being made public at this time.
