Portion of Academy Avenue blocked off, police investigate

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A portion of Academy Avenue was blocked off for a police investigation Saturday afternoon.

ABC6 News crews on scene could see investigators canvassing the scene and multiple shell casings on the ground.

The scene was active around 2:45 p.m. near Academy Avenue near Amity Street and Regent Avenue.
