Portsmouth’s Chris Herren Takes Lessons From Father Chris On & Off The Court

Local basketball fans know the name Chris Herren, the former Durfee High School star in Fall River who went on to play for the Boston Celtics. Herren’s career was shortened as he battled drug addiction. Now, after being clean for nearly seven years, Herren is sharing his experiences, on and off the court, as a motivational speaker. Most importantly, he’s passed those lessons on to his son, Chris, a freshman at Portsmouth High School. ABC6 Sports Reporter Nick Coit has the story.
