Potential for strong thunderstorms, gusty winds, downpours

Another warm and muggy day is ahead of us Tuesday with highs topping out in the mid 80s this afternoon.

We see increasing clouds today as a warm front swings through this morning bringing with it increasing humidity and isolated showers/downpours.

This afternoon we see another risk of isolated t-storms which could become strong with gusty winds and downpours.

The best risk of strong to severe storms stays to our west in western CT and MA.

The chance of an isolated storm continues this evening with lows staying in the mid 70’s. The wind will also continue to be gusty this evening and into tomorrow.
