Precautionary boil water advisory issued in Richmond, Hopkinton
RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The department of health has issued a boil water advisory for parts of Richmond and Hopkinton.
According to RIDOH, the town of Richmond says bacteria could have gotten into the water supply because of a faulty seal.
A test did not reveal any E. Coli in the water.
There is no word on how long the advisory will last, but impacted residents can expect to be notified when it is lifted.
