Project Sweet Peas partners with Women & Infants Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Halloween

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Women & Infants in Providence has partnered with Project Sweet Peas to ensure the hospital’s “smallest patients” could enjoy Halloween with special NICU-friendly costumes.

According to a release, Project Sweet Peas is a non-profit that supports NICU families.

Every year, volunteers, mostly former NICU moms, handcraft the costumes which are specifically designed to fit around NICU medical devices.

Each family also received a small Halloween gift bag.
