Protestors outside Spectra’s Fracked Gas Compressor Station in Burrillville

Just feet from the entrance of Spectra's Fracked Gas Compressor station, a group holds signs stating their disagreement with an expansion.
One protestors says she lives on this street and the noises that come from the station can be heard loud and clear all throughout the day..
Protestors say the proposed 3 million dollar power plant will give off toxins which is hazardous for current and future community members.
"Burrillville is beautiful and we don't need all the dumping of all these toxins on our beautiful town. We already have the ocean state power plant, we have the Algonquin pipe line,That's already in Burrillville, we think this is way too much for our little town," says Kathleen Martley, a protestor from Burrillville.
Tomorrow they say they will outside the Statehouse rallying around 9:30 am. before governor Gina Raimondo's press conference about the power plant.
