Providence court evacuated due to ‘minor gas leak’
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Judiciary said that the Licht Judicial Complex will be closed for the rest of Thursday due to a “minor gas leak.”
Rhode Island Energy and the Providence Fire Department were investigating the cause of the leak.
Update: In an abundance of caution, the Licht Judicial Complex will be closed for remainder of the business day due to minor gas leak. All other courts will remain open through 4:00 p.m. The Judiciary anticipates all courts will be open regular business hours on Friday. pic.twitter.com/VMNcJzviGA

All other courts are still open, and the judiciary said it expects the Licht complex to reopen Friday.
