Providence fire officials respond to a fire on Douglas Ave.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)-The Providence Fire Department responded to reports of a fire on Douglas Ave. at around 9:30pm Tuesday night.

Fire officials knocked down the fire inside of Diosy’s Multi Service in Providence.

They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to any nearby homes, fire officials tell ABC6.

The department is investigating the cause of the fire.
