Providence firefighter charged with domestic assault

A Providence firefighter has been arrested for domestic assault.
North Smithfield Police arrested 35-year-old Brian Dwyer on Sunday.
Dwyer was arraigned Monday and is being held without bail.
Dwyer, of Woonsocket, was arrested back in October as well on other domestic abuse charges out of Pawtucket.
He’ll be back in court at the end of January.
