Providence firefighters battle first-floor fire

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence firefighters responded to Sumter Street for reports of a fire on Saturday morning.
Officials on the scene told ABC6 that the fire started in the first-floor bathroom when the ceiling fan ignited.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread to the second floor.
The home did not suffer significant damage and no one was injured, according to officials.
