Providence firefighters were busy overnight working to extinguish two early morning fires during the height of the storm.

The first fire was on Admiral Street in the chimney of a home. It was put out without causing any injuries.

The second fire was on a natural gas fire on Niantic Ave. inside Corp. Brothers, a company that manufactures specialty gas equipment.

The fire began around 4:30 a.m. when a downed wire hit a natural gas line and it ignited. Gas was shut off to the area and fire fighters were able to extinguish the flames with out any injuries.
