Providence man arrested after driving with blood-alcohol level four times legal limit

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Rhode Island State Police arrested a Providence man for driving with a blood-alcohol level four times the legal limit without a license.

Antonio Briones, 47, was charged with a DUI and operating without a license.

Briones was arrested at approximately 5:30 p.m. Monday after police received reports of a vehicle operating erratically in Providence.

The car was found on Broadway and was stopped at the intersection of Broadway and Pallas Street.

Briones was also charged with operating without a driver’s license.

According to a press release, he was also issued traffic citations for laned roadway violations and operating left of center.

Briones was arraigned and released pending further court proceedings.
