Providence man pleads guilty to trafficking cocaine

A Providence man who pleads guilty to trafficking cocaine could face harsh penalties when he is sentenced.

Kendall Ferrara, 33, of Providence was arrested by members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force on February 23, 2015 when Officials learned he allegedly purchased 59 grams of cocaine.

Ferrara appeared in the U.S. District Court and pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of cocaine.

He is scheduled for sentencing on July 16, and could face up to 20 years in federal prison, three years to lifetime supervised release and a fine of one million dollars.
