Providence Municipal Court Canceled

Tickets and fines can still be paid at Providence Safety Complex

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence Municipal Court has been canceled out of concerns related to coronavirus, according to a statement issued by Chief Judge Frank Caprio Thursday evening.

The court handles traffic and parking citations for the city of Providence.

Those who had a scheduled court date will be receiving a new date soon. Payments on fines and tickets can still be made at the Providence Safety Complex at 325 Washington St.

The nationally syndicated television show, “Caught in Providence” is filmed at the court, which has helped earn Caprio fans across the state and beyond.
