Providence musician’s legacy to shape future of African American Museum of RI

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — February is Black History Month, a time set aside to reflect on the impact of historical African Americans, and also to recognize current history-making efforts that will impact generations to come.

ABC6 Anchor Karah Bailey spoke with Dr. Christopher West from the developing African American Museum of Rhode Island about the plans they have to shape this new museum according to the example of one prominent providence musician.
