Providence Police arrest 2 after shots fired incident

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it made two arrests Thursday evening after a shots fired incident.
Police responded to the area of Shiloh Street and Hyacinth Street around 6:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
Officers on scene saw a vehicle flee, and after a brief pursuit the driver and passenger abandoned the vehicle and continued to flee on foot.
Both suspects were arrested and a firearm was recovered.
There were no injuries and the scene was still under investigation as of 7:30 p.m.
