Providence Police arrest 2 men after fight

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department arrested two men in connection with a fight on Camp Street on April 4.

52-year-old Michael Beauregard was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, while 57-year-old Don Campbell was charged with simple assault.

A spokesperson for the mayor’s office said that police responded to the area around 8 p.m. for reports of a verbal argument between two male residents that escalated into a “physical altercation.”

Both men were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
