Providence police arrest suspect in fatal hit-and-run

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Providence police have nabbed the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run, where a motorcyclist was dragged several blocks before the car took off.
Police found the minivan involved in the crash and now the suspect is expected to face a judge.
Officials arrested 69-year-old Mustafa Lynch of Providence.
The 69-year-old is charged with leaving the scene of an accident death resulting.
Police say that on Saturday night Lynch was driving on Manton Avenue when he hit 18-year-old Christopher Lucero on his motorcycle, dragging him for several blocks for roughly half a mile.
Friends tell ABC6 News he had just recently gotten his motorcycle license.
ABC6 News has been told that additional charges could be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
