Providence police, FBI investigate ATM robbery

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Police tape surrounded a Providence Bank of America ATM Saturday morning after it was robbed.

Providence police tell ABC6 News that they, along with the FBI, are investigating a robbery at the Bank of America ATM on 40 Manton Avenue in Providence after someone allegedly broke in and took a “a large amount of money.”

Police are being tight-lipped at the moment and are not releasing any additional information. However, ABC6 will update the story once more information has been provided.
