Providence police investigate shooting incident

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — One person is hospitalized following a shooting in Providence.

Providence police said officers responded to Rhode Island Hospital early Monday morning for a report of a gunshot victim.

The victim is expected to be recover.

There is still no word on where the shooting happened.
