Providence Police investigating late-night shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez said that the department is investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night.

Perez said the shooting occurred on Whitmarsh Street.

One male victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
