Providence Police investigating man shot in face

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Police are investigating what led to a man being shot in the face Monday morning.

Officers initially responded to an apartment complex on Eagle Street around 9:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, an unidentified male was transported to the hospital with facial injuries.

Providence Police believe the victim was shot with a small caliber bullet or a BB.

Police added no one has been arrested as of yet, and there are no suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
