Providence police investigating midnight double stabbing incident
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police detectives are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred just after midnight involving two victims.
According to Providence Chief Public Information Officer of Public Safety Kristy DosReis, officers responded to 55 Bernon Street at approximately 12:01 a.m. Thursday for a reported stabbing incident.
Officers located two male victims in a basement apartment with apparent stab wounds.
They were transported to Rhode Island Hospital and are currently listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
