Providence Police investigating shooting of dog

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is investigating the shooting of a dog on Washington Avenue.

Police said that a pitbull was shot and was brought to an animal hospital.

The department added that the owner was uncooperative and has made no complaint.

There are possible two suspects, who were dressed all in black and fled on foot in the opposite direction of the Johnson and Wales campus.
