Providence Police investigating shooting on Veazie St.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence police are investigating a shooting on Veazie Street that occurred sometime before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Major David Lapatin told ABC6 News that a 25-year-old woman was shot in the foot.

It was not immediately clear if anyone had been taken into custody.
