Providence Police investigating shots fired incident

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it was investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Prairie Avenue Friday.

Officers originally responded to the area of Harriet Street and Sayles Street before learning where the incident actually occurred.

Police said there was ballistics damage to a residence.
