Providence Police investigating stabbing on Broad Street

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is investigating a stabbing that took place early in the morning on Oct. 12.

Police responded to the area after the Providence Fire Department notified officer that they were transporting a victim for stab wounds.

The victim told police they were stabbed at the 7-11 on Broad Street.

The department said police found no scene, and the victim suffered from one non-life-threatening wound.

The incident is still under investigation.
