Providence Police investigating stabbing on Cranston Street

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is investigating a stabbing that occurred on Tuesday.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Cranston Street for a report of a stabbing.

At the scene, police discovered a 30-year-old man in critical condition.

First responders transported the man to the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
