Providence police launch new tip line for illegal use of ATVs, dirt bikes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department launched a new tip line for illegal ATVs, dirt bikes, and all off-road vehicles on city streets.

Callers can leave tips at 401-680-8288. An operator will be answering calls from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Anyone calling after hours should leave a message.

Anyone with information regarding the storage locations of illegal ATVs and dirt bikes, or the gathering locations of riders should call the tip line.

Callers reporting illegal off-road vehicles in real time should call 911 or 401-272-3121.
