Providence police: Man shot four times questioned at city ER
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man with four gunshot wounds entered the emergency room at Rhode Island Hospital Wednesday night, according to the Providence Police Department.
The victim arrived at the hospital at approximately 10:51 p.m., with three gunshot wounds to his left shoulder and one gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The victim gave arriving officers conflicting accounts of the shooting incident, and his injuries are non-life-threatening.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing by Providence police detectives.
