Providence police respond to shooting on Candace Street
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence Police have confirmed with ABC6 News that they responded to a shooting on Candace Street Tuesday night.
Commander Verdi shared with ABC6 News that a 24-year-old male was shot and the bullet grazed his head. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation.
The victim was walking on the street when he was shot.
Police also confirming that no suspects have been taken into custody at this time.
Bullets went through the living room of a residence where children were watching TV, but the children did not sustain any injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting.
