Providence Police search for City Hall break-in suspect

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence Police are searching for a suspect that allegedly broke into City Hall earlier this month.

According to Police, on August 18 at about 2:30 a.m., a male suspect broke into Providence City Hall. The suspect allegedly stole two Dell laptops, a projector, and a digital camera.

Police are still searching for the suspect, who they say is a White or Hispanic male that is about six feet tall.

Officials say that at the time of the break-in, the suspect was wearing a red t-shirt, long white shorts, black sneakers, and a tan baseball hat. He was also carrying a black backpack.
