Providence Police search for robbery suspect who allegedly robbed 2 stores

The Providence Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly robbed a local Rite Aid.

Officials need help finding the man who is responsible for robbing the Rite Aid on April 11 on Broad Street and the Messer Mart on April 19.

He is portrayed as a light skinned male 160-200 pounds, 5’10” – 6′ tall and was last seen wearing a Nike hooded sweatshirt with Colorado University’s logo on it.

Police responded to the Rite Aid on April 11 at 8:36 am for an armed robbery where the alleged entered the store holding a handgun and demanded money.

Officials responded to an alarm on April 19 at 5:34 pm at the Messer Mart where the suspect put a bag on the counter and demanded money. The suspect made the witness assume he had a firearm in his pocket but it was not seen.
