Providence Police searching for missing 12-year-old

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it was asking the public for assistance locating a missing 12-year-old girl.

Marelyn Ceren was last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 on Dartmouth Avenue.

She was described as wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and gold hoop earrings, and has a small scar over her right eye.

Anyone with information on Marelyn’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Providence Police Youth Service Bureau at 401-272-3121.
