Shots fired on Union Avenue in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said that multiple shots were fired Saturday.

Police said it happened just after 5 p.m. outside a home on Union Avenue.

Police said they received reports of a possible child abduction but didn’t find any signs of such when they arrived.

Nobody was injured, according to police.

No further information was immediately released.
