Providence Public Schools honor ‘Teacher of the Year’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Public Schools honored it’s Teacher of the Year during a ceremony yesterday.
Rachel Greenberg from Robert L. Bailey Elementary was awarded the title.
She was surprised with a ceremony surrounded by her students and family Monday.
Greenberg was noted for her dedication and passion for student success, and was cited for being the science team lead, the technology team lead, and the Musical Director for the school production of “Finding Nemo Junior.”
Greenberg was previously cited a Golden Apple Award by the Rhode Island State Department of Education in 2017.
