Providence cuts the ribbon on new elementary school

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — State and local leaders cut the ribbon on a new school in Providence on Friday.
Gov. Dan McKee, Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green, Mayor Brett Smiley, Superintendent Dr. Javier Montañez, and other officials joined community partners and teachers, faculty, and staff at a ceremony opening the new Spaziano Elementary School.
Spaziano is one of three new schools the Providence Public School District opened this school year, as it continues to make historic investments in education facilities.
The new school is located at 240 Laban St.
