Providence to test port emergency siren warning system

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) plans to conduct its annual Port Evacuation Drill Tuesday at noon, according to the City of Providence.

The drill will include a test activation of the Port of Providence Emergency Siren Warning System.

The alert will be followed by a message stating that it is only a test.
