Providence warns residents of potential flooding

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The city of Providence is advising residents of potential flooding as rain rolls in Monday afternoon.

The city further advised drivers use caution driving on slippery roads and to not drive into flooded streets.

This weekend, a short bout of heavy rain caused flooding on Route 10 under the Union Avenue overpass and along Mineral Spring Avenue.
