Providence, Warwick police and Homeland Security make major drug and firearms arrest
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man is under arrest and facing multiple charges following a significant narcotics investigation in Providence.
Police said they seized more than 750 grams of narcotics from 30-year-old Cheyenne Delossantos‘ home, including over 100 grams of fentanyl.
Delossantos was arrested in his car.
Police said that they found the narcotics in Delossantos’ home on Orms Street.
Along with narcotics, police said they also found four firearms, including two high-capacity firearms and high-capacity magazines.
Providence Police Chief Colonel Oscar Perez said Delossantos is accused of distributing narcotics in Providence and in Warwick.
He faces multiple charges including possession of drugs with the intent to distribute in a school zone, drug trafficking and possession of stolen firearms.
Providence police worked with the special operations group in Warwick and Homeland Security officials for the investigation.
